We headed back to the hotel to meet the OAT Amazon group and our guide Dante. We met all of them at the hotel lobby and went to a local restaurant for lunch. We had Ceviche, I had beef and Barrie had chicken, and apple pie for desert. We then walked around with Dante and he told us where to find things. We stopped at his favorite place to get Pisco sours. They were huge and powerful. Lots of alcohol got everyone talking, about Peru, about history, about the world....
Barrie and I then checked out the flea market in the Plaza and headed back tot he hotel. We did some packing, walked to the grocery store Vandana - for wine - and then went to a restaurant one block away to find a light supper. We went to Pachicas and had Ayuntaches ? which is meat on a skewer. We had beef heart and swordfish. It was served with potatoes and corn on the side. After dinner we went to bed as we had a very early start in the morning.
