Lima sites and museum

We went to two ruins that have both pre Inca and Inca building. One is inside Miraflores, Lima just a few blocks from our hotel. The other we went to on our bus as it is South of Lima.
We also visited the Archeology Museum in Lima and the Larco museum which is a private museum

2. Huaca Pucllana -a ruin in Lima. Notice the libraryshelf method of building with stucco blocks
3. Pachamaca - a pre and Incan museum outside Lima
4. From the top of the Sun temple at Pachamaca. Note Islands off coast where they collected the guana or bid droppings for agriculature.

6. & 7. Pots in the Larca museum from tombs. They had thousands of pots in storage on shelves floor to ceiling that you could walk through

9. Inca golden set of crown, earrings, necklace. The only complete set known to exist in the world
Most of the Inca gold was taken by the Conquistadors, melted down and sent to Spain. They carried of room fools of gold and silver. They stripped the sun temples of their gold plating and melted everything.
