Village of Ullantaytambo

We visited a typical home and learned about many of the family rituals and way of living.
We walked through this village that once was an Inca village
1. Sewing machine in home
2. Ladder to loft and bed
3. Guinea pigs - raised for food and black ones are used for ceremony
4. Woman spinning in village
5. Doorway from Inca times. Spanish used this and built a hacienda here
6. Dried meats and fish hanging in home
7. Alter. Grains and special objects on table, desicated alpaca and vicuna on wall, skulls of ancestors in niche
8. Narrow Inca street unchanged
9. Interior of home
10. Tools - foot plow is long one
11. Children in village
