We helped prepare the luncheon. We were served traditional Peruvian food. First we helped prepare the guinea pig. This is a delicacy served on special occasions.
Then we assisted in making the batter for chili rellenos. They were stuffed with a mixed vegetable stuffing then dipped in batter and fried. We were also served spaghetti with a salsa sauce, rice, sweet potato, corn on the cob which has huge kernels. You pull eac kernel off individually to eat. If dipped in their green sauce it is delicious. Se pics below.
